I am immeasurably grateful for the Curse of Strahd community. Further, I used this opportunity to fix some story-choices I've come to regret (Strahd's brides not being bridesmaids in this update, all four brides have been unearthed, with Sasha Ivliskova as the Maid of Honor instead of Danika Dorakova).Īll 4700 customers that ever bought the Wedding have now received this new PDF for free-I simply replaced the old PDF file on DMs Guild with the new one, so if you own the title, just go re-download the files. It has new art, better layout, and better editing, as well as both a Dramatis Personae and Bestiary to describe all the characters (and their statistics) therein. I even had that god-awful seating chart re-done by a real graphic designer.Īs part of this, I updated the original PDF for The Wedding at Ravenloft, to reflect these changes. I commissioned Olie Boldador for a new cover, had an actual editor parsing my work, and worked with a professional layout designer to get this baby in print. That's no longer the case, and with five years experience behind me, I set out to visually overhaul The Wedding.

Five years ago, I knew nothing about layout design-e.g., I used MS Word and couldn't figure out why my parchment background was blocking the page numbers, so I literally made manual textboxes for all 42ish pages-and had very little art budget. In the five years since then, The Wedding has since become a staple of our community and sold over 4700 copies it remains one of my most beloved projects.Īs my work on the Curse of Strahd Companion nears completion, I wanted to get the Wedding in print-on-demand on DMs Guild. So I polished up the Wedding and published it for sale.

The Wedding was actually something I wrote for my own campaign, and it was only after I came back from my year of teaching in Japan that I learned you could legally sell D&D materials.

Hey folks, I'm Wyatt Trull and five years ago, I got my start as a writer in this community with The Wedding at Ravenloft.
